Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information we handle, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Scope of this policy

This policy covers personal information handled through this website and through the contact channels listed on it. It is written to reflect how the website actually operates on the date shown above.

This website is currently informational. Online forms are not yet in operation. When they are introduced, this policy will be updated before they go live, and the review date at the top of this page will change.

Information we collect

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not require you to identify yourself in order to read this website.

We handle personal information in the following situations:

  • When you contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email, we receive whatever you choose to send: your name, your contact details, and the details of your situation.
  • Our hosting provider automatically processes technical data for every visit, including your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. This is standard for any website and is used to deliver pages and to protect against abuse.

Sensitive information and documents

A rental dispute often involves contracts, cheques, identity documents and financial details. Please do not send these unless we have asked you to and told you how to do so securely.

An initial enquiry needs only enough detail for us to understand the situation and tell you which route applies. Sending less at the first stage protects you.

How we use your information

We use the information you send us only to respond to your enquiry, to assess whether we can assist, and to carry out the work if you engage us.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for marketing purposes, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not currently set analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or any other tracking cookies, and it does not embed third-party advertising or social tracking scripts.

If measurement tools are introduced in future, this policy and the Cookies Policy will be updated first, and a consent mechanism will be provided where one is required.

Hosting and infrastructure

This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses and request logs on our behalf in order to deliver the website and protect it from attack and abuse. That processing is governed by the privacy terms of that provider.

Website fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to that service when a page loads. We are reviewing self-hosting the fonts in order to remove that request.

Contacting us through third-party channels

WhatsApp is operated by a third party and is not controlled by us. Messages you send through it are handled under the privacy terms of that service in addition to this policy. If you prefer not to use it, contact us by email or telephone instead.

Who your information is shared with

We share personal information only where it is necessary, and only with:

  • The licensed professionals working on your matter, which may include a licensed lawyer, a licensed notary public, or a certified legal translator.
  • Courts, authorities or the Rental Disputes Center, where a filing or a procedure requires it.
  • Service providers who operate our infrastructure, such as our hosting and email providers, acting on our instructions.
  • Any party where disclosure is required by law or by a competent authority.

How long we keep information

Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are kept only as long as needed to deal with the enquiry, and are then deleted.

Where you engage us, records relating to the matter are kept for as long as required for the file and for the period required by applicable professional and legal obligations, and are then deleted or archived securely.

Security

This website is served over an encrypted connection and applies standard security headers. Access to enquiry information is limited to the people who need it in order to deal with your matter.

No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. If you believe information has been sent to the wrong place or handled incorrectly, contact us immediately using the details below.

Your rights

Subject to applicable data protection law in the United Arab Emirates, you may ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information about you we hold.
  • Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Delete information we no longer need to hold.
  • Stop using your information for a particular purpose.

Children

This website and the services described on it are directed at adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when the way we handle information changes, including before online forms or measurement tools are introduced. The review date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.

Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from it.
